Komorná Hůrka is our youngest volcano - it was active 850,000 years ago, there was even an opinion that it ended its activity only 350,000 years ago.

These are accessible parts of the nature reserve of the same name (forest upland peatland). The trail has been in operation since July 1976.

Kladská educational trail

The path has been in continuous operation since September 1977. It is 9.5 km from Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad - Kladská road) and 5 km from Lázně Kynžvart.

SOOS educational trail

The shallow basin between Vonšovský and Sooský brooks (at Nový Drahov railway station 6 km north of Františkovy lázně) is divided into two parts by a mound of silica sand.
